Mt Martha Village Clinic is a privately billing clinic located on the Mornington Peninsula with independent GPs who serve a diverse and growing community. Our clinics are about an hour from the Melbourne CBD by car and are located within a 5 minute drive of each other – the main site is located 200 metres from the beach. We are owned and run by 4 GPs who work in the clinic and have a great understanding of what it takes to be a GP. We have regular GP meetings to discuss and action issues to support the independent GPs. All our nurses are registered nurses and are well versed in wound care, emergency and chronic disease management amongst other skills.
Our clinic is backed up by a very experienced and approachable practice manager who is driven to ensure we meet our legal responsibilities, knows our people, and reflects the values of the business owners. She will support you and help you settle into the practice seamlessly so you can hit the ground running and work the hours that suits your lifestyle. Our staff and independent medical practitioners are engaged, they have a variety of talents to share, and we have a willingness to accommodate ideas for new clinical services that GPs may have. The independent medical practitioners and staff are motivated to upskill with continuous learning and self-development.
We are a teaching practice with RACGP Registrars rotating every 6-12 months. There are 5 GP supervisors who mentor these doctors as we recognise the need to foster good clinicians for our future.
We engage software to enhance our efficiency and optimise patient outcomes such as Best Practice, CUBIKO, Betterhealth consult, POLAR, Practice Hub, e-scripts, e-referrals and e-fax. Our appointment book is automated with automated payments and our DNA rate is below 1%.
